Missing Files Warning! Please be Aware of the Following Issue
There is new issue with Sage 100 (FKA MAS90) particularly with certain modules.
If you use Payroll, Job Cost, Work Order, or Time Card this should be addressed immediately with your IT support (internal or external to your organization).
This issue arose late last week and we have addressed with a few clients this week. Sage has recognized a solution. Sage is working on the issue but believe it is a combination of a Microsoft Windows Update (KB4051034) and Windows Defender treating certain files within Sage 100 as "suspicious".
There have been previous issues purely with the Webroot Antivirus Software interacting with Sage 100 as well that behaved similarly.
Depending on the file within Sage we have been able to replace missing files to resolve the issue (to date). Your IT team may want to consider actions such as an exclusion on the location of the Sage Software, reversing of the update, or other action such as removing Defender.
